1. On December 9, 2024, the Australian Anti-Dumping Committee issued Announcement No. 2024/097, announcing that the Australian Minister of Industry and Science approved the final ruling on the anti-dumping review of stainless steel deep water tanks imported from China, and decided to cancel the anti-dumping duties on the Chinese products involved from June 25, 2024.

Australia launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on Chinese stainless steel deep water tanks on March 18, 2014, and made an affirmative final ruling on both anti-dumping and countervailing on March 26, 2015. Subsequently, the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation was launched on July 3, 2019, and an affirmative final ruling was made on February 28, 2020, deciding to continue to extend the anti-dumping and countervailing measures on the Chinese products involved, and the measures will be valid until March 26, 2025.

On May 6, 2024, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission, at the request of the domestic enterprise Oliveri Solutions Pty Ltd, initiated the second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation on stainless steel drawn deep water tanks imported from China. Finally, a negative final ruling was made on December 9, 2024.

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/039 on June 25, 2024, and independently initiated an anti-dumping review investigation to examine whether the variable factors related to the adoption of anti-dumping measures have changed, so as to decide whether it is necessary to adjust or terminate the anti-dumping measures.
The termination of these measures means that Australia will no longer impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the stainless steel drawn deep water tank products involved in the case in China. The current countervailing measures will expire on March 26, 2025, and the anti-dumping measures have been cancelled on June 24, 2024 and will not be extended from March 27, 2025.
